Great and very detailed image by Steve Read. It was great fun, I always enjoy painted cakes. This is puzzle number 5 in the Ravensburger My Haven series. The series is produced for the UK market, which means it’s more expensive for me, normally I would expect to pay about 15 EUR for a 1000-piece Ravensburger, but the UK ones cost about 20-25 EUR.

Stacey of My Jigsaw Journal just posted about a 2000-piece Buffalo puzzle with the same image. Well, almost the same image. I can’t see any other differences, but outside the door of the Buffalo puzzle there’s a van and a dog, but here you can see two women. I think one of them has ordered a cake and is picking it up.
Looking at your puzzle, I can see that the image goes down a little farther at the bottom. You have the entire box of cupcakes, the cat cake isn’t cut off at the bottom, and you can see the table that the lamp and teacup are sitting on. Otherwise, besides the two women in the doorway they look exactly the same. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, I loved the colors! 💗

I loved it too! I love all of the puzzles from the My Haven and the Happy at Work series (the latter are all 500-piece puzzles, I think).

I just found a third version, Schmidt also released this: https://www.puzzle-offensive.de/Puzzle/59653-Grossmutters-Stube-2027785.html It has your dog and van, but goes as far down as mine.

LOL. Good for Steve Read, he got paid three times over for basically the same image. 🙂
