This puzzle is part of a new Educa series called Enigmatic, and it’s pretty obvious the series has been inspired by the Ravensburger Exit/Escape-series. I got this thinking there would be some mystery to work out, but these are just regular puzzles. I don’t mind, it was a nice puzzle 🙂

  1. Hi, I came across your blog when I searched for a guide to this puzzle. I bought this too because of the promise of “an enigma in each corner”. I’m sure my box is missing the guide because I found one online for another Enigmatic puzzle. It’s a sheet with the image surrounded by 20 hidden objects to find in it. I don’t know if there is anything on the other side because there are no images, and hardly any mention of a guide at all. Without it, the puzzle is pretty meaningless. Do you have the guide? If yes, would you mind posting a picture of it?

    • Hi! There was no guide in my box either, I’m afraid, there was just the puzzle and some glue. I had a look at some reviews on, and it looks like nobody got a guide, and people are not happy about it. You might try contacting Educa directly.

      • Wow, this is so lame of them! I did email them yesterday but I might have worded it differently, had I known nobody got it!

      • Yes, it looks like Educa was in too much of a hurry to get on the mystery puzzle bandwagon to do things properly. I hope you get the guide!

      • They sent me a PDF of the guide, the same style I saw for another puzzle. I put the file in my google drive to share it with other people. I hope the link will go through.
        They also wrote this:
“In these enigmatic puzzles, no booklet is included, so it is not an error or defect. We are sorry that you had this confusion. We are sending the sheet with the pictures to find. This is the only thing we have available.”
Unfortunately, it’s from a no-reply address, so I can’t tell them what I think of their logic.
Btw, I finished the Artist puzzle and am working on the riddles. So far I only solved one and it had four layers! It’s so difficult that I can’t even determine where all six are in the picture…

      • Thank you so much for this! I clicked the link and have asked for access – you probably have to approve everyone who wants the file. I’m glad you got the guide, but Educa really messed up here. There wasn’t even any informatíon that a guide existed with the puzzle. I’m planning on doing the Artist puzzle after my vacation finally starts and I’m back in Dortmund again, maybe on the weekend next week.

  2. I’m glad I found this discussion! This seems to be the only information available on this puzzle that doesn’t say it comes with a booklet. I wonder where that idea came from.

I enjoyed the Ravensburger Escape Room puzzle I did, and was hoping for more with this one. Hidden objects will just have to do, I suppose. Thanks for sharing the pdf, Blackkitty!

    • I think the false information must ultimately come from Educa (perhaps a bad translation), and they’ve not exactly handled it well. If you do more Ravensburger Escape puzzles, I have a spoiler page for those 🙂
