This was actually more difficult than I was expecting it to be. I started with the flowers, pulling the pieces for one colour at the time, and filled in the rest here and there.

Sometimes I enjoy a traditional landscape, and since this was more sea and stones and less vegetation, I really liked this. I got it from a charity shop in Dortmund, where almost all puzzles seem to have missing pieces. This was no exception, but there was also one piece with a double, so maybe this time, it was more Ravensburger’s than the previous owner’s fault.

Lovely collage that made for a great puzzle. Very similar to the Vintage Dress Making puzzle I did recently, and I worked on it much in the same way, putting in pieces here and there without any plan.

A fantasy map, with a few actual places (Rapa Nui, Thebes), some place names that are almost real (like Africus, Europas) as well as complete fantasy places (like Atlantis, Valhalla). This was actually more challenging than I was expecting, and I’m not sure it was a good idea to start with edges, given the border, but for some reason, I did. I spent quite a lot of time looking at the box with this one.

The blue box sort of jumped out at me, but after that I just kept putting in pieces here and there. As it worked out, I did the text on the left last. Loved it, even though I can’t sew to save my life 😀

This is a puzzle from the Ravensburger Circle of Colors series. I worked the puzzle from the inside out, and didn’t look at the box image, because it just didn’t seem helpful with this puzzle. The changing colours were enough of a guide what to look for next. I was expecting the edges to be a bit difficult, but with the excellent Ravensburger cut, that was quite easy, too. Very enjoyable puzzle!

I was expecting this to be difficult, but somehow it wasn’t. After I had started on some things, like the chair, the wigs and one of the gowns, it was somehow always easy to find pieces that fit in with what was already finished. Unfortunately, there were two pieces missing. I bought this new, and I doubt I managed to lose two pieces, especially as they are next to each other.

Anyway, there were lots of lovely details in the puzzle. I especially liked the colourful wigs:

The bonus challenge for April was a crown, and I could find at least six crowns or tiaras in the puzzle. Here are three of them:

A little snack while waiting for the bonus challenge for April to be published. It was nice enough, although the dark areas took a while. The box was square, and I didn’t really realize that the puzzle would be portrait format until I had started.

A rather typical Dominic Davison image, which made for a nice little puzzle. Enjoyable, but very fast to do.

I haven’t done a space puzzle in a while, and it turns out I still love them! For the puzzle challenge, I’m counting this as #12, my favourite brand. No surprise there, it’s still Ravensburger.
