Not my usual type of image, but somehow, I like this. I first saw it as an Educa puzzle, but passed on that, because Educa’s cut is so ambiguous, but then I found it as an Art Puzzle (a Turkish brand) and got it. Unfortunately, it turned out to have only the basic piece shape with two tabs opposite (except for two pieces, there was one with three tabs, and one with one tab ). I went back and looked at the previous three puzzles of the same brand that I’ve done, but they all had a good mix of piece shapes, like I thought. I’m not saying I’ll never get another Art Puzzle, but I’ll be thinking long and hard before I do. There’s one still in my to-do pile, but I bought it several years before this one, so that’s probably ok.

Fortunately, this turned out to be much easier than expected, and it was quite enjoyable, despite the boring cut.

My third Art Puzzle, and this time the fit was good again. It was a bit off in my second one,  but this was excellent quality. The image wasn’t all that easy, of course, the colours aren’t exactly bright, but it was still a nice puzzle. There were a lot of white pieces, even bits of the table looked white. A few words on the paper would have been nice 🙂

I have fond memories of this type of storm lamp, we had a lot of them at our summer cottage. We did have electricity, but not all that much, so we kept that for essentials like fridge and TV in order not to overload the system.

Art Puzzle is a Turkish brand, and the quality turned out to be good, with a glossy finish.  Great news, because they’re also quite cheap! The pieces are a bit smaller than  usual, but not by much.

I really like Karla Gerard’s colourful villages, they make great puzzles, although sometimes the trees can be difficult. Not here, though, this was nice from start to finish. Also, I seem to have finished this on my 50th birthday 🙂
