Next up a 2000-piece Grafika puzzle, a Collage of Da Vinci works. Started on December 8th, 2018.
Here’s something I appreciate: a box that is no bigger than it needs to be!And here’s something I don’t appreciate: a lot of pieces not properly separated. Argh! Some of them I could pull apart, others I had to leave in order not to break them.It was pretty easy to find the pieces for the small works on the bottom.Vitruvian man was also easy, and then I started on Mona Lisa.Ready to go!A couple of pieces I should just have left connected…
At this point, I had to leave the puzzle and come back to Helsinki, but I will be back for one more trip to Dortmund before Christmas.

Lovely! Is the piece separation a problem you normally have with Grafika?

Unfortunately, yes. I just decided that the next time I do a 1000 piece Grafika puzzle I’m going to count the pieces affected and complain to Grafika.

That stinks! They have so many beautiful images, it’s too bad about the cut.

Yes, exactly! I especially like their abstract art images, so I’m putting up with the sloppy cut, but it’s so annoying.

Ooof, that is a rough cut indeed! At least the image is nice, but that’s frustrating for sure.
