Wonderful image of two puzzlers looking for that final piece. I’ve had some good Gibsons puzzles lately, but here the quality was not good, I’m afraid. The fit just seemed a bit off, the pieces didn’t fit easily into the placed they belonged. On some tabs the image layer had separated, and this was a new puzzle.
By the way, that missing piece really is missing, at least I couldn’t find it in the image 🙂

Wow this is a great puzzle! Probably the best image I’ve seen of a puzzle about a puzzle.
Such a bummer that the quality wasn’t what you expected. I’ve heard of the Gibsons brand but have none of their puzzles. Is the quality for Gibsons just hit or miss and not consistent?

In the past few years, the 1000 piece puzzles have been good, and the 500 piece puzzles poor. There was recently a discussion about it in a Finnish puzzle group, and at least three other users confirmed that they’d had the same experience. Gibsons probably has them made by two different manufacturers.
