This was fun and quite easy, a typical Ryba image.

A fun cartoon image with characters from various fairy tales. Many Prades images are a bit too busy for me, but this was just right 🙂

A great puzzle with a cruise ship by Swedish artist Anders Lyon. Since the artist is Swedish, it is practically certain that this is partly modelled on the ships that sail between Stockholm and Helsinki every night. It would be difficult to find a Finn who was never on one of these, and they’re popular in Sweden as well. In fact, there was a very popular Swedish drama series set on one such ship in the 90s. The ship in the puzzle is called the M/S Scandalia, and it’s flying the Swedish flag 🙂
Today, I’ll be boarding a ship called M/S Gabriella, and tomorrow me and my car will be back in Helsinki. Notice the cars on the lower levels on Scandalia 🙂

I loved this puzzle, and look forward to more Anders Lyon images.
This was a very entertaining puzzle with an image by Loup. The white background is unusual, and it makes the puzzle seem less busy.

Sorry about the horrible photo (again). There’s a Wagner opera in full swing, and for some reason, there’s also a dragon in the chandelier. This version was released in 2005, but it was originally released in 1997 as a 4000-piece puzzle called Opera Germanica.

A 2000-piece version of the Battle of Trafalgar by Ryba. There were lots of fun details, as usual, but it was maybe a bit too busy for me.

World map with a border of flags and pictures of animals as well as boats and planes on the ocean. More fun than a regular map 🙂
I was juggling four pieces of cardboard to assemble the puzzle on, and a whole stack of them to spread out the rest of the pieces. As you can see, I didn’t bother putting the sections together properly.

This was the kind of puzzle where I loved every single piece. Every single piece! There are lots of interesting details, but overall it’s not too busy.

A snail has found a cool new house.

There are often football references in Marino Degano puzzles, and here a group of penguins are supporting Juventus. They always wear the colours anyway 🙂

Some Very Important Penguins are having champagne.

Santa Clause is painting his igloo, but he doesn’t look too happy about it.

My first puzzle in Dortmund for the summer is the Polar Habitat from the Funky Zoo series by my favourite artist, Marino Degano. I chose this because it’s so hot that I quite like to look at some ice 🙂

There are tons of interesting details as usual, including an ice bear with a Lisa Simpson doll…

… and some promotion for another puzzle in the series.

Funky Zoo is a great series by my favourite artist, Marino Degano. There are currently 8 instalments with various areas of a zoo, and you can put together the images to make an entire zoo. I think that means that the path and the river are always in the same place so that you will get one very long puzzle 🙂 As far as I know, the series is still ongoing, there was one release this year (Australian Habitat). I have all eight, but I’ve only completed two so far.
