I love painted cakes and pastries, but, once again, this turned out to be more difficult than I expected. It was still a great puzzle, lots of text and cake 🙂

Lovely collage with colourful owls. This was very enjoyable.

It’s 22 years today since Princess Diana died.
This puzzle was brought in to work by a colleague, and a lot of people worked on it. It’s a Schmidt, and I didn’t make a note of the title. It was actually quite difficult, and not something I would have chosen myself.

This was nice, lots of different colours!

An old Schmidt puzzle, probably from the ’80s (the box says West Germany, so should be from before German reunification, October 3rd, 1990). Even though the image is conventional, it was still a very enjoyable puzzle, and the quality was fantastic. Unfortunately, old puzzles are usually better quality than contemporary ones of the same brand, and that’s definitely the case here. The images tend to be a bit boring, but the superior quality more than makes up for that.
Judging from the musty smell, this had spent quite some time sitting in a basement, but all the pieces are still there, after all this time.

I did the path and the sky first.

I managed to finish the berries, but it was pretty difficult. Especially the blueberries, I did them last, of course. It was still enjoyable, it just took a really long time.

So, this is proving a lot more difficult than anticipated, and I didn’t expect it to be easy. I still like it, it’s just really, really slow. There are only four different types of berry so that the same type covers many squares. If they only had used more types of berries, this would have been great. Originally, I thought I would be able to complete one type/day, but I’m well past that now 🙂 At least it’s a Schmidt, excellent quality, and very satisfying when you do connect some pieces. I’m definitely getting my money’s worth, this was bought used for 1 EUR.

I loved this! A great vintage collage, with some text thrown in.

Another kitchen collage, always enjoyable.

This puzzle was brought in to work by a colleague, and a lot of people worked on it. It’s an old Schmidt puzzle, I would say probably from the ’70s. The cut is different from the current puzzles, the tabs on the pieces were smaller and less round. The border was a pain, otherwise not as difficult as it looks.
I didn’t make a note of the title, it’s probably not Dancing Ducks.
