This was fun, although a bit more difficult than I was expecting, at least partly because of the random cut. It was still great fun!

I did this for the August bonus challenge in my Puzzle Challenge FB group. The challenge was:

This looks like a puzzle that I would love, but it didn’t quite make it. The brand – Ridley’s – is new to me. The pieces are thick and sturdy, and they have a paper backing. Unfortunately, most of the pieces have the basic shape, except for 14 pieces in the same column. Not quite what I mean when I say a like a good mix of piece shapes. Also, the fit wasn’t great. It wasn’t terrible, either, but I would think long and hard before buying another one of these.

The box was tube shaped (which I don’t like), but I did love the request to “please puzzle responsibly” 🙂

Lovely cook book collage. This was so much fun that I put away the box to make it last a bit longer, but it was still pretty fast.

I have no idea if any of these books actually exist, but they all looked interesting. Even though I quite like cooking (and I don’t smoke), I can still relate to the cook who prefers a cocktail and a cigarette:

There were also lots of cakes and cookies:

Very enjoyable puzzle!
The last puzzle I finished in Dortmund before returning to Helsinki was another June’s Journey puzzle:

As you can see, it’s a mystery puzzles with more objects in the finished puzzle. Last time, I completed the entire puzzle first and then started to look for the missing objects, but I missed several, so this time I started writing down the objects as I was puzzling, and this way I found them all. There is, of course, an image with all the objects in the box. You can have a look at the finished puzzle here.
This is the first in a Clementoni series of four with Star Trek images and VHS-like packaging. The packaging is the same as for the Cult Movies Puzzle Collection, and I previously bought and did two of these (you can see them here and here). Surprisingly, I think l preferred having just one character than the whole cast in the image. Easy and enjoyable!

A Disney Pixar puzzle that was pretty easy and entertaining. I don’t seem to have much to say about the puzzles I’ve done lately…

This is one of the best puzzles I’ve done this year, I absolutely loved it! Obviously, the image is appealing, but that doesn’t always result in a great puzzling experience, but this time, it absolutely did.

This was a bit more difficult than I was expecting, but still I nice puzzle.

Corto Maltese is a classic Italian adventure comic where the eponymous hero has various adventures in the early 20th Century. The first album was published in the late 60s. I’ve never read Corto Maltese, but a fried of mine is a fan, and after doing the puzzle, I think I might try one. I enjoyed the puzzle a lot, and I can see that Hugo Pratt was a very talented illustrator. Also, wikipedia tells me that Boris Karloff was his great uncle!

The seconf puzzle in the Little Sun series, this was also nice. By the way, unlike some other round Ravensburger puzzles, these do not have a poster. I wouldn’t have used it anyway, but I know some people like them.
