Not the most exciting image, there’s a lot of brown in there, but still an enjoyable puzzle.

No 6 from the Ravensburger My Haven series. This was a great puzzle, with lots of interesting details and room where I think I would feel very much at home. The book that the (almost) unseen person is reading is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë – the text is clear enough to read, and I googled the first sentence 🙂

There’s plenty of evidence of various hobbies in the image, including puzzles. The one on the bookshelf looks to be another puzzle from the same series, called the Sewing Shed. There’s also a stack of puzzles on to the left on a sideboard (the box on top may not be a puzzle).

There a site called Ancestry Detective open on the laptop, and some genealogy charts on the wall.

Wonderful image of two puzzlers looking for that final piece. I’ve had some good Gibsons puzzles lately, but here the quality was not good, I’m afraid. The fit just seemed a bit off, the pieces didn’t fit easily into the placed they belonged. On some tabs the image layer had separated, and this was a new puzzle.

By the way, that missing piece really is missing, at least I couldn’t find it in the image 🙂
Another fun Zozoville puzzle, with an adorable monster celebrating spring. Whee!

Great Sherlock Holmes themed collage by Cobble Hill. At the bottom there’s a timeline of stories, and there are short presentations of major characters, famous quotes and scences from the stories. The most difficult part was the squiggly Sherlock Holmes text in the middle – I did that last.

Another Zozoville puzzle, with a little girl training a monster. I loved it!

Great painting by John Everett Millais from 1851. The woman in the picture, Mariana, is a character in Maesure by Measure by Shakespeare. I love the way the setting and dress is mediaeval, but her pose looks very natural and relaxed. On the table in front of her there is some sort of needlework, and she’s clearely got up to stretch her back a little.
As a puzzle, the left half was great, but the right half was a bit too dark. The puzzle itself was darker than the image on the box.

Very traditional Ravensburger with a pretty image from Norway. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to. It was also the kind of puzzle where it was easy to find pieces for the various sections and I felt I knew exactly what to do all the time. One piece missing, unfortunately.

Wonderful puzzle from the Ravensburger Happy at Work series. I did it pretty much in one sitting, and was happy to find it complete, although I was worried about a sky piece there for a while 🙂 Loved every minute of it!

Great collage with four vintage posters for races in Italy. Many collages try to fit in too many images, and I really enjoyed this. It was a bit more difficult than I expected, but not much.
